Gimnàstic de Tarragona SAD and SoccerSolver have formalised a collaboration agreement through which SoccerSolver joins as a new official partner of the club. The alliance will provide the club's sporting management and technical secretariat with advanced predictive data analytics and financial metrics — a differentiating resource for evaluating and optimising the parameters of the squad.
With this move, the club takes a key strategic step in its methodological area through the implementation of data intelligence applied to elite football. Both organisations join forces with the aim of strengthening the sporting department, becoming one of the pioneering clubs in Spain to make use of the first sports investment software. The goal is to quantify the risk of buying and selling players through SoccerSolver, which is capable of delivering more than 50 financial metrics and generating an average return on investment of 17–35%.
By processing data analytics, the tool applies mathematical models and predictive algorithms that make it possible to optimise scouting processes, minimise risk in signings and detect talent at an early stage.
The synergy between the two organisations is already a reality, and the objectives set will safeguard the wellbeing and success of both parties. The integration of SoccerSolver into the club's day-to-day operations will begin immediately, adding to the latest-generation technologies that drive continued growth on the pitch. Gimnàstic and SoccerSolver will work together to build a unique and solid project in Primera Federación.
Tomeu Nadal, Sporting Director of Gimnàstic de Tarragona:
“Technology does not replace scouting work; it complements it. Having this tool gives us an additional layer of information to evaluate players, anticipate their development and reduce uncertainty in decision-making.”

Alejandro Sánchez, founder of SoccerSolver:
“I have often been told that SoccerSolver only makes sense for elite clubs. With this partnership we want to prove exactly the opposite. The challenge is to put predictive analytics and financial metrics within reach of clubs with much tighter budgets — and, in doing so, to help them find advantages where others cannot yet see them.”

SoccerSolver has the backing of leading mathematical experts in the world of football and data. Last February it was named among the Top 8 sports startups in the world by MIT (the Massachusetts Institute of Technology), one of the most important technological institutions in the world.
